Editor’s Note
Hello,
Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps began in Germany in 1858 and continued in California before the Second World War. From the very beginning, the founding family wanted to go beyond making soaps to create social justice and a healthier planet.
It was the third-generation Dr. Bronner – Emanuel Bronner – who added his social philosophy “We Are All-One!” to the brand that made it a counterculture favorite during the 1960s, leading the change within sustainability, activism, and fair trade.
Today Dr. Bronner has expanded across the world and beyond soaps but is still keeping the magic in their messaging and how they care for the planet by making products that are healthier; from sourcing to making to everyday usage.
